My passion for baking started at a young age. I’ve always had a sweet tooth, so I quickly began to bake for any reason I could find. It’s become a dream of mine to approach baking as more than a hobby; to create beautiful, professionally-crafted desserts for others to enjoy. I specialize in gluten-free confections because I have been maintaining a gluten-free lifestyle for several years now. When my husband and I got married, it was hard for us to find anybody who made gluten-free wedding cakes. Therefore, I spent a long time experimenting with recipes to find the most moist and delicious cakes, as well as perfecting my icing and decorating skills. Since I do bake both gluten-free and non gluten-free cakes, I sanitize all my equipment thoroughly to prevent cross-contamination. There is nothing like taking a bite of a perfect, fluffy sweet cake with melt-in-your-mouth icing. Watching others enjoy what I’ve created is one of life’s greatest pleasures.
I’m a teacher by trade, which can be extremely demanding. It’s a therapeutic exercise to spend my evenings and weekends baking and creating delicious desserts.
